ROSLYN WELCOMED CAREER DAY INC. PROGRAM

December 1st, 2023

Roslyn High School hosted its first Career Day Inc. on December 1st, 2023, marking a remarkable event where over 50 speakers came together to inspire more than 1,000 students. Professionals from diverse fields, including healthcare, engineering, law, trades, technology, math, and science, attended to share their expertise and insights.

The program began with two motivational keynotes, held in the auditorium and gym. These sessions were led by the inspiring Michael Goldberg and Josh York, whose powerful presentations set the stage for the day. They provided valuable insights and encouraged students to ask important questions about their futures as they met with various professionals throughout the event.

Students then moved to small group sessions with professionals over four periods, gaining deeper understanding and guidance in their areas of interest. The program concluded with a networking luncheon for 12th graders, allowing them to connect with speakers they hadn’t yet met and ask further questions.

We are immensely grateful for the overwhelmingly positive feedback from teachers, administrators, and students. Their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the program were truly inspiring.
